Transition Services Certificate

*Transition Services Certificate program beginning August of 2018. 


The Transition Services certificate is designed to help rehabilitation counselors understand the pre-employment transition requirement and evidence-based practices in secondary transition.

  • 16 graduate credit hours
  • Complete in 1 year (3 semesters)
  • Work closely with Special Education Professionals
  • All classes offered through distance education (courses are streamed live through the internet in the evenings).
  • Tuition is $417/credit hour. Total cost of program is $6,672.

2) Copy of transcript (does not have be an official copy) verifying your most recent degree sent to:

RSA Scholarship

RSA Scholarships are currently available.  There is a payback required for this scholarship.  If you receive scholarship funding, you agree to work in a qualifying rehabilitation counseling position for 2 years for every 1 year of support received.  The payback time begins when you complete the certificate (there is a grace period to obtain qualifying employment).  If you do not work in a qualifying position after certificate completion, you will be required to pay back the $ amount of the scholarship received to the Rehabilitation Services Administration.
